Sometimes it is helpful to think about the synonyms and what they free us from. Here is a chart that might support that idea. This chart can be duplicated for each child and played like a game. Draw a card (compassion, intelligence, substance, flexibility, etc.) and place the card under the correct synonym. Or it can be made into a large wall chart and discussed that way. Or it can be made individually with one synonym on each chart. (This chart comes from www.biblosfoundation.org in the Teaching Section.)

Here are some websites that have wonderful cartoons for the stories or songs to teach them. Anything you can do to retell, read, talk about these stories with your child or student would be helpful!  Another idea that might be helpful is to purchase Bible books for your child at his age. And then gradually purchase more difficult stories and drawings as they get older. There are hundreds of Bible books on Amazon.com

Hello my friends!

I have had two experiences of taking a ‘fall’ with injuries, and the healing that resulted from prayer in Christian Science proving that man is upright, unfallen, whole and free. These healings are not in the periodicals, but they did happen as I have related. This idea directly below was given to me to work with from a practitioner:

From Mrs. Eddy to James Neal: “Hold on to Life. Nothing can rob you. Rise – not by will power but by exaltation, God loves you. He will not let you fall. And if you appear to have fallen, this is error, and the Truth will heal you of that belief.”

Jesus and the disciples have left on their first trip, and Jesus diverts them through Samaria which they are not happy about. The disciples go down to town to buy food and Jesus speaks with the woman at Jacob’s well. Her receptivity causes Jesus to stay here for several days to teach.
